We are Artspace Brighton.

An arts and mental health charity providing a community-based studio for people with experience of mental health issues.

What we offer

At Artspace, we increase opportunities for people to engage with art activities in a stable and supportive space. We encourage our studio members to decide which creative avenues they wish to pursue, with guidance tailored to their individual interests.

People join to share a space alongside other artists, to develop new skills and explore their creativity. Members of our studio have told us that being part of Artspace has boosted their self-esteem and enabled them to gain a newfound sense of purpose and meaning in life.

“This place is just so incredibly even and nobody is made to feel small or insignificant, the sense of 'sameness' is so special”
