We are open to referrals from people above the age of 18, who are experiencing mental health issues and who have an interest in creating art in a shared space.

If you would like to become a member of the Artspace studio you can either contact us yourself, or ask a member of your support team to contact us on your behalf. To become a member you are required to fill in our Referral Form. On this form, we request that you provide a brief supporting statement from a referrer; this can be a member of your support team (Key Worker, Psychiatrist, Social Worker, etc.) or if you are not in contact with any other specialist services, this referrer can be your G.P.

Once we have received your completed Referral Form we will invite you for an informal chat at the studio. This is a chance for you to see the space and decide whether you want to go ahead with becoming a member. It also gives us the opportunity to better work out whether we can support you. You are welcome to bring someone with you to this initial meeting.

If you become a member of the Artspace studio, we will assign you a regular session to attend each week. This session will be assigned depending on your preference and our available spaces. The studio is open on Tuesday and Thursday from 10am - 5pm. Morning sessions run from 10am- 1pm, and afternoon sessions run from 2pm - 5pm.  We charge a membership fee of £5 per session.

Please click to download a referral form, fill in the relevant fields, and send back to us via our email address or post.
